The Office of Student Research has developed a number of programs to support faculty and students involved with research and creative activities (RESCA). These programs are briefly explained below:

  • Course Redesign: This annual competitive award provides funding to faculty interested in redesigning their courses to incorporate research and creative activities (RESCA).
  • Peer Research Consultant: Peer Research Consultants support faculty by leading discussion groups and assist students with research projects and creative activities (RESCA).
  • Peer Lab: Similar to supplemental instruction sessions, Peer Labs assist students with understanding difficult course material. Sessions are run by a Peer Lab Facilitator, a student who has mastered the course content.
  • Summer Research Program: This is a 10-week program that provides funding and resources to support undergraduates who are interested in research projects or scholarly activities related to their field.
